Frequently asked questions

How do I get in touch with the hiring team?

Pinpoint is our applicant tracking system and where all candidate communication lives. Our recruiting team is small, so while we do our best to respond in a timely way, we’re not always able to reply to every message.

If you need to get in touch after submitting an application, whether to share additional information or to reschedule an interview, you can reply directly to any email sent through Pinpoint to reach the recruiting team.

Note that messages sent to personal inboxes can sometimes get lost. Pinpoint is the most reliable way to reach us.

How does SafetyWing make hiring decisions?

After the final stage, the hiring team syncs to assess alignment on skills, creativity, values, and connection to our mission. All stages of the hiring process are taken into consideration during these conversations including interviews, test tasks, and team feedback. The goal being to find a mutual fit that feels right on both sides.

How are new team members hired by SafetyWing?

As we hire globally, you may join our team an an employee or a contractor depending on your role and location. Regardless of how your contract is structured, we consider everyone an equal member of the team.

How does SafetyWing think of AI?

We think of AI as a tool, not a substitute for our own thinking.

You're welcome to use it to refine your wording, structure your responses, or check your grammar, but we'd encourage you to keep your own voice at the center. We review hundreds of applications for every role, and AI-generated answers tend to repeat themselves across applications in ways that are easy to spot.

We value authenticity and the best applications we receive are specific, personal, and a little unexpected.

What does it mean when I register my interest?

By registering you interest, you enter into our talent pipeline and agree to be contacted should a future role match your skillset.
